Ashley was born a month early, weighing in at less than 3 pounds. For a whole month, she was admitted to the ICU. She was told by her parents at Christmas that this Day would be the day she needed heart operation. The prayers were answered when Ashley's parents visited the hospital on Christmas Day and were told by doctors that her heart had been shut. Ashley has not required any surgery. With a weight of 4 1/2 pounds, Ashley was discharged for two more hospitalizations. Since then, she's been healthy! Her father is of English and German ancestry. Her mother is from Ireland. Her acting debut was in an advertisement for the Salon Surprise Barbie Doll from 2002. Ashley's career was furthered when The Ford Modeling Agency approached her when she was just 8 years old. Her work was steady in the printing industry and continues to work for the Agency. As a young girl Ashley decided to go into acting. Ashley went on to do 35 commercials before moving onto stage roles. It was her main passion to act. Ashley concentrated all of her time on acting. That left very less time to model or dancing. Ashley is most well-known for her portrayal of Hannah Marin on ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars. Ashley played a brief part in Romeo Miller's (aka Lil Romeo's) music video "True Love", which was performed with Solange and Romeo Miller. Britney Spears was photographed in an Vogue Magazine shoot. The actress is in the NLT's "That Girl".
